EURAC will represent the project at the 35th EU PVSEC to be held in Brussel on 24 - 28 September. The presentation titled "Open Source Tool for a Better Design of BIPV+ Battery System: An Applied Example" provides results from case study examined with an innovative open source tool for designing cost effective BIPV+ battery systems. The aim is to bring awareness of the economic profitability and visual impact of a BIPV system to the designer in the early stage of the architectural design.

Vega Seoane (TECNALIA) will represent the project at the ABS conference in a conference session entitled New Technologies and Products in BIPV on Tuesday 2nd October from 10:45 to 12:00. EnergyMatching will be represented at the COST Action PEARL PV event: “Performance and Reliability of Photovoltaic Systems - Evaluations of Large-Scale Monitoring Data”, to be held in Nicosia, Cyprus, between the 23th-25th October 2018.
Marco Lovati, EURAC, will present an approach of the importance of early design phase simulation. The presentation will take place on the 25th of October 2018.
Additionally, the event is organizing a practical Course and workshop on the 25th of October. The training focuses on monitoring and simulation of the performance and reliability of photovoltaics in the built environment. During the practical sessions the participants will have the opportunity to test different software used for simulating the performance of PV. During this session, the participants will also have the opportunity to test the EnergyMatching tool in an exercise on BIPV pre-design optimization considering techno-economic aspects.Read more Past
