EnergyMatching at the Final COST Conference for Adaptive Facade.
November 26-27, 2018. Lucerne University of Applied Science and Arts. Switzerland.
TECNALIA will present aspects of adaptive window block for residential use. Windows are a crucial component in the renovation process, as they are a strong geometrical constraint, but at the same time they provide space for active systems integration, together with significant opportunities to deliver major comfort enhancement to users, through the combined use of technical systems, such as shading and decentralized ventilation. The presentation will illustrate the concept of an adaptive, factory assembled solar window block, with a very limited impact on building occupants during installation, which makes it particularly appealing for residential use.

EnergyMatching at the COST Action PEARL PV event

EnergyMatching will be represented at the COST Action PEARL PV event: “Performance and Reliability of Photovoltaic Systems - Evaluations of Large-Scale Monitoring Data”, to be held in Nicosia, Cyprus, between the 23th-25th October 2018.

Marco Lovati, EURAC, will present an approach of the importance of early design phase simulation. The presentation will take place on the 25th of October 2018.

Additionally, the event is organizing a practical Course and workshop on the 25th of October. The training focuses on monitoring and simulation of the performance and reliability of photovoltaics in the built environment. During the practical sessions the participants will have the opportunity to test different software used for simulating the performance of PV. During this session, the participants will also have the opportunity to test the EnergyMatching tool in an exercise on BIPV pre-design optimization considering techno-economic aspects.
